Hawaii County police are asking for the public’s help identifying people whose images were recorded on a surveillance photograph recently obtained in connection with a 2014 burglary.

Hawaii County police are asking for the public’s help identifying people whose images were recorded on a surveillance photograph recently obtained in connection with a 2014 burglary.

Sometime between 11 p.m. Oct. 5 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 6, unknown persons forcibly entered a convenience store at a gas station at the corner of Hualalai Road and Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona. They removed tobacco products, lighters and sandwiches valued at $855.

Police are asking anyone with information about their identity to contact Detective Sandor Finkey at 326-4646, extension 281 or email at sandor.finkey@hawaiicounty.gov.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
